If you're not a Democrat, congratulations.

If you are, please stay put in the shithole that you created.

Gretna real estate going brrrrrr. 5 minutes from superdome and almost zero crime.

You should look into Belle Chasse’s property value

shite is out of control because literally everywhere else is trash around the Nola metro area

Such a fricking stupid thing to say Have you been to/lived in every town in the state?

Ok then, what town in Louisiana is #1 in anything?

Besides crime, drug use, murders or a stat similar to those.

FKA Dryades but somehow in 1989 that was racist so rename it for a black civil rights activist

Yeah because this is the only little slice of paradise with booming housing prices.

Oxford is amazing. That’s my main option right now for moving out of Nola.

Notice there’s a theme here

Old Metairie, Bucktown, Belle Chasse, Arabi, Gretna, probably Terrytown too… what do they all have in common???

And Slidell is the exception that proves the rule

What if all the people who fled the crime and corruption of South LA moved and settled the empty parts of the state? There’s a whole 3/4 of the state that’s basically nothing. Stop leaving Louisiana for Texas and Georgia. Stick around.

come on up here to williamson county. crime stats for the last 6 months (all crimes) was 1 burglary.

aint no crime in the 37069

I live in Davidson County and it is probably coming this way with all of the northeastern and Cali transplants moving here. I see cities like NO and San Francisco as canaries in the coal mine unfortunately.

Pineville is a good town.

Seems like every city in LA has an adjacent town (often across the river from said city) with solid middle class folks and decent public schools. Bossier City for Shreveport, West Monroe for Monroe, Pineville for Alexandria, Sulphur for Lake Charles, prairieville for BR.

Is the NOLA version of this somewhere on the west bank or on the north shore?

I agree with that. These kids need successful men that look like them, actively better themselves and don’t glorify the gang lifestyle to serve as mentors.

I moved away from Bossier in 2004 so I don’t know how much it has changed but it was a nice safe little town back in the 90’s and early’00s.

you should continue this train of thought and explain. I'm curious as to what all those have in common

Both. But the northshore is full of insufferable yuppies with their heads up their own asses

The westbank is the best place to live in South LA
