I know it doesn't matter and this is just a curiousity, but how is this going to affect the soil?

Started cleaning up houses today and was amazed at the amount of worms everywhere. Piles and piles of them, all over the driveway and house.

Is anyone else seeing these? How could so many worms get into a closed up house? What will be the long term effects of losing an entire population of soil enrichers?

Thanks folks and stay safe. Good luck with the cleanup.

Worms are a sign of good soil. Toss them in the yard and move along.

Toss them in the soil, anyway. Good nutrients.
