Yeah a large tornado went right through Union City this afternoon. Early damage pictures look rough.

Looks bad.

When the tornado hit down town Nashville years ago, I had just left dropping of a package to our lawyers office 30 minutes before it hit.

Interestingly, Michigan was in only Level 1 of 5 risk area for today. Always gotta expect the unexpected with severe storms

Please pray…multiple fatalities

Looking around on Xwitter every report of fatalities stems from this tweet. He's on the ground, so I'm assuming he'd know, but I truly hope he's wrong.

If anyone sees anything more official, please post it.

ETA: Here is official confirmation. It is always terrible to hear this news.

The anniversary of the Lee County, AL EF4 was a few days ago.

This is the radar loop from that storm/tornado, not a current one.

Gonna be an interesting one to break down the mesoscale for. It was really the only storm up there and it just found a groove that allowed it to produce multiple tornadoes through its lifespan.

Inola is about to hit with high winds and rain, this storm has left a lot of power outages in it's wake.

The radar is taking a lick, too. Still spinning, though.

It is trying to wrap back up heading into Inola. Doesn't look like it has been able to yet, though.

It did get it done. Hopefully it was out of town before it put it down.
