Cold clear weather for Christmas/New Years? Actual cold, clear weather? Seems the last five years have been the same shite as now. Can't find a web source that provides a historical synopsis

Stop jinxing it.

I moved away from winter. I don't need it to chase me farther south.

Oh I'm not wanting a white Christmas by any means, but I've had enough of this subtropical rain forest shite show every holiday. Even without the rain, nothing drys, I'm running my AC year round, and (most annoyingly) the horses are filthy and there's no good way to clean them. Tired of having to wait till March for a freeze.

The average high is about 65 degrees. That means 1/3 of the time it's 40. 1/3 it's 80 and the other 1/3 it's 65. The .01 remaining is a toss up

I like it. My horse is an arse when it's cold.

Plus, I'd rather just hose him off after a ride instead of dealing with toweling and coolers to get him dry enough to re-blanket.

Screw the cold

Nothing screams Christmas quite like humidity, heat, mosquitoes, and t shirt and shorts.

Yeah, I guess your TB has a short coat. That yellow horse of mine looks like a Wookiee. Get him wet in these conditions and he doesn't dry for days.

What do you consider "cold"?

In 2014 it was 58/32 in Christmas Day( which is below avg)

In 2013 it was 50/29

In 2012 it was 74/44

3 of the last 5 were above avg, but the two years prior to 2015 were below avg.

It was 75/71 in 1982. It was 24/10 in 1983.

Don't worry, it will be cold again on Christmas Day soon.
