We are approaching 2 hours since this cell put one down around Childress. It’s long track and it’s probably huge.

I’ve watched it all along and there have been several debris sigs.

It’s a killer.

It was all out there by itself.

Glad there was only one, and it's never been able to rock a long tracker.

It's been a weird day radar watching anyway. Seen quite a few pretty couplets pop, but the reflectivity has been meager with them.

I’m sort of surprised at the lack of storms around Witchita Falls and OKC, maybe they will develop later.

While there are certainly some violent storms out there, I feel like this has sort of underperformed so far. Not that that is a bad thing. Certainly things could ramp up later, though.

The line of storms in W. TX is exploding south of Lubbock. Midland/Odessa just had a warning issued.

1 thing Dr. Forbes said about 20 minutes ago on TWC that caught my ear...

he said the dry line seemed to have gotten pushed back west a bit

as the dry line refocuses itself and pushes east again... it could still hit that instability and pop off some serious storms

There have been a number of tornadoes today. Luckily away from population.

I wouldn’t say it has underperformed. It’s also still early. Our watch here in BA goes until 1 a.m. just noticed some small pop ups south of me around Haskell, OK.

It has hit two hours as of right now.

Two hours with several instances of likely debris balls.

The cell that has been putting down the pain is getting absorbed by the line.
