James Spann was calling his own tornado emergencies that day... he wasn't waiting for the NWS to put them out

Dan Satterfield out of Huntsville started doing that 15-20 years ago. He is retired now but he used to get the NWS all bent out of shape and he didn't gaf.

that storm east of Lubbock has exploded and is now severe thunderstorm warned.

The one to the east near Dickens is more ominous looking at the moment.

Outskirts of Broken Arrow. Wagoner County. I am actually closer to Coweta, OK than I am to Broken Arrow but have a BA address.

The watch issued went to Tulsa County and didn't include Wagoner, though I am sure that will change in an hour or two.

Dr. Postel on TWC saying the storm by Lubbock is getting too sheared to develop to tornadic

there's a storm that isn't even severe warned by Childress, Texas that he's more worried about popping off and getting tornadic

I will be retiring on the coast in 15 years. At least there is a good week or so warning for Hurricanes.

I cant take this tornado BS the rest of my life.

So just to clarify here...Is there any hope for a bust here?

You've gotta understand I am attempting to hold on to any type of rope I can here.

keeps talking about the April 10, 1979 Wichita Falls F5

SO remembers it even though she didn't live there, it was on the news constantly in DFW.

Stepdaughter isn't too worried, her biological dad (who is currently out of the picture by his stupid choice to marry wife #4) trained her on having an emergency kit ready and she does.

Btw, have you visited Pete's Place just outside of McAlester? Pretty good Italian joint and brewery.

Yep, love the city of Krebs and the Italian restaurants. Prairie Brewing is top notch and can art is strong. Thisis one of my favorites:

That cap is breaking and the eventual supercells are popping over north Texas and into Oklahoma.

I was in Moore just NE of movie theater and hospital when that F5 hit town, saw cars and trucks 100’s of feet in the air flying in and out of the vortex then explode into buildings like bombs, straight outta a science fiction movie or war zone, everything was ok til I felt the rear of my truck being lifted, truly unbelievable experience, never want to be near another tornado ever again, hurricane no problem, tornadoes frick dat!!!

There is an Italian place that is in McAlester I actually liked better than Pete's. Giacomo's or something like that.

I know a few things about McAlester...large deer on the ammunition land...good Italian food...biggest speed trap in America especially coming in to town from the north on 69.

I have been watching and following our local guys/gals. I feel like TWC tries to pump a bit of fear into your soul and I don't like that.

Cell just NW of Dickens looks like it might be today's first tornado warned storm.
