RT, you’re a Cenla baw right? Is it ill advised to try and get a quick dinner in? I’d hate to be at Mi Tierra and the power go out.

Eta: nevermind, I see the post above.

if you can wait about 90 minutes (if that)... do it

I haven't eaten anything all day... so I'm starving... but I'm holding off until this last line comes through

Vicksburg got hit by two possible tornados. Reports of pretty bad damage on local Jackson news.

In about five minutes. First line's about to come through, though there's nothing really nasty looking about it on radar other than the heavy rain.

That line has some suspect areas for quick spin up twisters but that's more to your south. The big threat looks like damaging winds at the moment.

The winds are insane right now in Austin. Even with the storms gone and sun out.

Vicksburg got rocked by two tornadoes it looks like. Numerous tornado warnings riding in north of Jackson. Was a nothingburger for most of north Louisiana, at least in tornado terms.

Why do you have to always be so negative?

Well this is a Louisiana based website.

Do we care what the weather was like in Idaho today?

I'm good with that. It's too dangerous for people in Louisiana. In the great plains its easier to deal with, you can see things coming and trees dont block your roads off.
