Lots of the founding fathers were Deists. That is, they reject the Bible and the very idea that God intervenes in worldly happenings. Even if they were all Christians, they carefully crafted the first amendment to avoid goofy shite like this.

Know how I know you've never been to a third world country?
Pretty much every third world country is steeped in religion. Most of them are Christian.

Indians in Canada whose Visa’s expired threatened to starve themselves to death if they were sent back to India. That’s how much they hate India, they’d rather starve to death here than go back.
But yeah let’s run cow shite all over the walls of public schools because muh 10 commandments.

Not quite.
They reject Organised Religion. They take the Bible as symbolic, not literal.

Yeah it’s Christianity brought there by missionaries and not the sub 80 IQ’s of the populace.

Like I said, I don’t give a shite and honestly preferred that he didn’t sign the bill. I think the only thing that should be displayed is the American flag. But to watch you pussies melt when y'all had no problem with blm /pride flags or inappropriate sexual library materials in schools is peak hypocrisy.

Which is wink wink nod nod logic. Everyone knows what God we are referring to.
I don’t disagree with you; I believe that conservative justices twisted themselves in knots to uphold their own worldview. I also believe that this bit of idiocy by Louisiana potentially opens the door to revisit those past decisions.

Respectfully disagree

Less respectfully disagree.

You apparently have no idea what the word hypocrisy means. Again, I would oppose any law mandating BLM or Pride flags be flown, or any law mandating certain content be included in libraries.
You keep insisting on this false equivalency so you can insult your opponents, but it’s simply not reflective of reality.

lol, your not my “opponent”. You’re just some keyboard warrior melting on a topic that I don’t care that much about and wished it wasn’t distracting from more important topics. That being said I did insult you because you are in fact, acting like a gapping pussy. Keep furiously posting

I’m not melting, at all. I’m discussing a topic of interest that I know quite a bit about.
On the other hand, you’re a self-important idiot who can’t spell.

How many people defending this for the state are not already on the payroll?
I assume most of the work will contracted out through previously determined rates. I guess it's pretty obvious why Landry was pushing so hard to double the AGs budget for hiring outside/private lawyers and consultants.

Yeah, I imagine Kyle Duncan is a little bit sad that he accepted that Fifth Circuit position. I doubt he cares about the money at this point, but he’d eat this shite up

that's partly the point
nobody wanted this and it is literally just political fodder meant for distraction
it needs to be called out

So, question about the new Ten Commandments law that Landry signed. Is the state going to print or engrave a whole bunch of plaques and ship them to every school in the state? Is every school obligated to print them themselves and mount them? Is the state going to send officials out to check all classrooms? How is this going to work?
No, posters will be donated to schools. This wouldn't have passed if it wasn't a zero $ budget item. I'm sure someone already has an organization lined up and somebody to pay them. Then of course there will also be the protest donations of posters that meet the letter of the law but are basically trolling attempts.
The bill doesn't include any penalties for non-compliance. I guess that will be up to the Dept. Of Education and BESE.
I imagine we're going to see a lot of 11x14 posters in tiny font at many of the public schools if this goes into effect. But I doubt it does, this is blatantly religious, not "historical" no matter how much they try to spin it.

You need to work on your understanding of what "hypocrisy" means, bigly.

Out of all the people in this thread who missed the point, you missed it the most completely. You've tied yourself into a pretzel that you cannot even recognize, and you've soundly proven the point of those you are debating against.
Do better.
