If I remember correctly... they'll do 2 rounds of voting in the morning and then send up a smoke signal after the 2nd
Obviously if a Pope is elected on the 1st ballot of the morning they'll send it up immediately
But should be smoke by lunch time if not beforehand
Same with the afternoon as well... 2 rounds of voting & only smoke after 2nd round if not selected in 1st round
ETA: all obviously Rome time... meaning early morning & early afternoon smoke our time if no Pope or Pope elected on 2nd ballot of session

I can't seem to figure out how to post a image but, I found this
All roman time
8:15 gather for Mass
9:30 first round of voting
10:30 White smoke if elected or vote again
12:00 smoke, than lunch and break
4pm gather again
5:30 white smoke or vote again
7pm smoke, than bed.
Translation for Central
smoke could appear at 3:30 am, 5 am, 10:30 am, or noon. Again as seen in the first go around it could be later than those predicted times.

Considering that St. Peter was the first leader of the Catholic Church (a position later called pope), this papal conclave seems pretty relevant to the Gospels since Jesus makes Peter the leader of the Church in the Gospels.
This is nowhere to be found in the New testament.
A rock is a foundation. Not a leader. And Jesus was the builder.
Have your weird beliefs but try to acknowledge they are not supported by scripture please.

When Jesus asked Peter to feed his sheep in the gospel this past weekend did he literally mean that he's dead now so he needed someone to let the lambs out in the pasture?

PROTESTants sure stick to their purpose.
Do yall ever get tired of constantly judging other faiths? Seems like a huge waste of energy.

You sure about that?

In this case, St.Peter was both.

Jesus desired and prayed for unity in his Church. Paul said the Church is the pillar and bulwark of truth. Inferences to Peter being the leader are all over the NT (e.g. John runs faster to the tomb but waits for Peter to go in first). Numerous early Church writings refer to the bishop of Rome as the "Chair of Peter" while seeking decisions on some issue or disagreement.
There's a lot more, and a lot smarter and more educated people than I can explain it all in more detail. Just Google catholic answers papacy.

It is found in several places in the New Testament. Also, the actions of the apostles and disciples make it quite evident that they know Peter is their leader.
Thirdly, the Bible is a Catholic book. It was compiled by the early Catholic Church. The writings were all complete by the end of the 1st century AD, and then during the early 300s the Catholic Church used its authority as Christ’s church to determine what books were Scripture and what books were not scripture. This was done at the Council of Trent. At that council, the Church determined what books would be in the Bible and would be considered Scripture.
Certain books such as the Gospel of Thomas, the Gospel of Judas, and the Dead Sea Scrolls were determined to NOT be Scripture and were not included in the original Bible.
In light of all of this, you can see that it’s quite silly to try to “use the Bible against the Catholic Church” because it’s a Catholic book made by the Catholic Church in the first place.
