Bad call and stupid rule. Football has become almost unwatchable with all the ref interference and endless commercials.

When he loses possession its a live ball, if he touches it first then it should be a dead ball, if he doesn't then it should be a recovery.

One hand on each side of the ball=possession. He's trying to bring it in AND he's down. Then ,from out of bounds bama swats the ball= ILLEGAL TOUCH (should've been)-the ball comes loose and is controlled again by LSU
