Besides the government, businesses will realize they don’t need to operate the way they did before and millions won’t be getting jobs back.

Fear is the great political mover of emotion. If you can convince half the people in a political unit they're being kept safe, they'll give up all of their rights in a heartbeat.

In truth, both far left and right favor authoritarianism and fear liberty.
Freedom vs the "greater good" is always the quandary.
