No. You can file an expungement of criminal record with the court and have it removed. Of course this does cost money and as long as you were cleared of all wrong doing.

Brett Muffington and Clit'n Crotch would be some solid porn names

Why would he be forced to watch a rape video? Intimidation?
When you go to jail in East Baton Rouge you actually go to the parish prison. At first you are thrown into booking a couple of large cells they put a bunch of people whom were arrested in. If you arent bailed in a few hours or it is becoming night time (bed time) they move you to the back actually into the prison. Now im not sure if its law/code/right but they make everyone who will be entering the prison watch the sexual abuse video. Its not so much of how to avoid it, or how to defend yourself in the situation.... Its just 3 middle age men telling how they are dealing with being sexually assaulted in their life after prison. So I can see where he is coming from but still nothing to file suit over everyone has to watch it.

Ah, now THAT makes sense. It was an awareness/cya video, not an actual prison rape.
shite, here in MS you just get a pamphlet saying you gonna get raped and dudes have AIDS.

precisely.
Its blunt and ugly but that is what it is.
Not a rape video although its not the kind of awareness video you would expect.

Thank you for clearing that up.

Good luck getting your mugshot and arrest record scrubbed from the 3rd party sites.

His other complaint is that he was strip searched. This can mean many things. Was he forced to change into a jumpsuit or was he made to get naked, bend over and spread his cheeks?
He was a total dickhead the night he was arrested. He ignored multiple attempts by police to get him to step back with his floodlight while they ascertained if there was an active criminal in a house that had been broken into.
He felt he knew better than them and was going to do as he damned well pleased.

It's pretty common to have new inmates strip naked, spread their butt cheeks, and cough.

So he was treated like every other arrestee that is arrested and brought to the parish prison.
What is the lawsuit for then? What difference will his actions, which brought him there, make in the lawsuit?
I am sure that part of his suit is the dindu defense.

Yeah, it's procedure to make sure they aren't bringing contraband into the facility.

It is very very difficult to get an arrest expunged totally. Once your fingerprinted on AFIS it goes to NCIS. Your in the FBI database at that point. If anyone does a criminal history on you it's going to show up. I know people that have had convictions expunged but the arrest still shows up.

I can't believe none of you remember the earlier thread when this happened. The difference between the two is like night and day.
(This is a general statement and not directed to Sabi)

Wrongful arrest. He didn't commit a crime.

Yeah, I don't remember that thread. At first, his complaint looked on its face legit, but it may not be.
