My question is why would they have such a video?
On the face of the article I don't see anything that would make me say this suit is bullshite.

So if you are arrested and charges dropped, you still have to answer yes t being arrested? I hate that part. A trumped up arrest and you pay for it even if the charges are dropped. Of let's say the police enter the wrong house and arrest you for drugs. They book you. But they later realize the mistake. I suppose you still have to admit to being arrested? That's fricked up.
Previous arrests always show up. Judgements don't matter.
Arrested for dwi, charges dropped? Doesn't matter. You can still be charged with a 2nd offense if they want.

That's not what I'm implying. Some folks Around town can better speak on his reputation. It's just not one of integrity. I don't know him personally. Just a reputation.

People should be outraged at the abuse by our police state but this is Louisiana and we only care about the freedoms that are on bumper stickers.

It's a touchy situation. We want police to clean up shitty areas (BR: presidential streets, state streets, Native American streets, and numbered streets above 17)
Too little involvement = the neighborhoods don't matter.
Too much involvement = profiling
The incident in question sounds like a perfect storm of an a-hole cop, and an a-hole reporter. Both being assholes, they talked shite to each other.
The truth of the situation is somewhere in between their accounts.
Body cams and public recording of civilian/police interaction is the only way to make things right.
The combination of the two will (in theory) result in easier court cases, and much less reliance on juries of idiots trying to figure out what big words mean...whilst determining the fate of another.

The procedures that take place in the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison have nothing to do with the BRPD, the facility is run by the Sheriff's Office
