Dude get involved.. LSU is a great school, I'm sure they have a lot to offer. Idk about LSU but Ole Miss has a bulletin board in the Student Union with endless possibilities.

There are plenty of restaurants around there, you and your stoner friends should check them out and decide..walkons, mellow, rotolos, that one that changes it's name every year.. shop around and ask if they are hiring if you like it, or try the bar scene if you dont mind working late and dealing with assholes all night

While in college, making friends/finding fwb is the easiest thing ever. Talk to people in class, study for the "big test" with some broad with big tits, get a job somewhere (preferably in the service industry). Or in the words of the old Colorado coach "go play intramurals".

in your case I would say to go to a marijuana AA meeting.

stop smoking and refuse to be around dope. your "friends" will dump you and you will improve your school work and maybe get a job out of school.

do you have a career in mind? learn something related to it.

stop being a child.

Stop being a pussy, take 2 friends to Tigerland the first week of school, and just start talking to people.

You're welcome

Hey man, saw you sweating real hard in there. Wanna grab some tacos or maybe try to bang some sluts some time?

I'm convinced that the White males who protest for liberal causes don't actually believe the shite, but are just trolling for hairy bush.

What are some ways to meet other people and make actual friends.

While in college, clubs and organizations are your friend. Around campus or the town you're in, you can probably find a club which meets regularly to participate in just about any interest or hobby you may have or may be interested. The best way to make friends, though, is to play in a band. You will become close friends with your bandmates and meet a lot of people playing shows. You then always have people to go with to see other shows and your circle of friends is always expanding.

Mock it if you want, but when I moved to the northeast, I made a lot of friends at the gym. Of course, anyone on here will say I just joined a cult, but thus far no one has offered me Kool Aid so I think I'm good.

Bartending/waiting tables is the easiest way to slay and expand friends in college.... Well I'm sure being in a half decent band would be nice but not everyone can exactly do that. Anyone can work in the service industry.

Work at a restaurant. If you have any game at all, you can slay the puss over and over again.

Since you go to LSU, why are you hanging around a bunch of dudes who only want to smoke weed? I had some epic one night stands at LSU. You're doing it all wrong.

This. You have something in common with everyone on campus. You will never be in as easy a position to make new friends as you have now. Like Ric said, Talk with people in your classes, the cafeteria or wherever you eat if off campus, your apartment.

When you get out of school it's much harder to make friends with new people. A lot more expensive too. You have to start spending money to even have new places to meet people.
