The deal is that Wayfair had these simple industrial style storage cabinets that should be priced at a couple hundred dollars and were priced at over 10K. There were several listings like that, each showing the same cabinet and each with a name attached (for example “Samiyah”). Here’s where it gets fun. The names of the cabinets matched up with children on lists of missing children. The theory is that some trafficking ring was using Wayfair as a front to traffic the children. It is interesting that there so many cabinets wildly overpriced with different names that are people’s names. I don’t know what the explanation is. But it does raise the eyebrows.

The QAnon stuff is partly so enticing to its participants because its sort of structured like a choose your own adventure novel. The people who believe in it feel like they are part of the story when they participate in "research," even though nothing ever happens, nothing stands to reason, the incredibly precise predictions where Q was wrong are ignored and written off as "disinformation." It is incredibly stupid, still, but the active participation part fills an important need in our atomized society, which is the need for a community.
