Exactly. His whole strategy is to talk in circles and draw out his moment of fame. Also he’s trying his damnedest to talk in so many circles and irrelevant statements in the hopes that he trips either the judge or the prosecutors up giving him grounds. He knows he’s going to prison for the rest of his life so he’s reviling in the fame this trial provides.

The judge and prosecutors in this case deserve some paid time off and free vacations after this. They’ve been excellent.

ETA: He just flat out said he’s gonna go HAM in the closing. That’s going to be must see TV

He's going to get his closing argument ended really quickly.

I can't believe they are going to sequester the jury. Could you imagine having to be sequestered, even if for only a night, because of this jackass?

I'd like to make an update on the verdict prediction...

If the jury is sequestered during deliberations... we definitely get a verdict before C.O.B. Wednesday

I know why they will object, but man I wish they’d just let his rant go

Does anyone think he will try to lunge towards the Judge after the verdict is read?

Me too. Just let him go and at the end have the judge say "everything he just said is a mischaracterization of the law and should be disregarded."

He is going to try to tell the jury that there is no subject matter jurisdiction and the court has tried to hide that truth from them.

Gosh, the jury instructions will take 5-6 hours. That is going to be extremely boring to the jury. Brooks will likely break it up with objections, though.

The pre-trial instructions went I think 7+ hours

Gotta remember... there are like 76 different charges to read out with a bunch of lesser included charges

I don’t. I really think he believes he has done what he needs to in order to appeal. He’s a psychopath

That's crazy. You would think that a lot of them are the same instruction for each charge so they would be able to say Charges 1 - 6 are X, 7 - 12 are X, etc...
