As someone who tries to transcribe stuff for his job regularly... in no way would I be able to keep up with everything that is said in a courtroom

I saw a TikTok (hi China) of a stenographer showing how a court reporter would record all this. It's crazy.

Judge states there are 4 cameras in his area, although only 1 is turned on because he is there by himself. Proceeds to count more than four, of which I'd assume he was also counting security cameras.
