WWL went to shite after John Snell left and went to Fox 8... All the rest followed including Lee Zurik...
I haven't watched WWL in years...
What's hilarious is the fact they fell from the #1 spot and they don't even see why... They just keep going with the DEI hires...

I have no reason to watch WWL anymore now that Mrs. Boudreaux is no longer employed there. DEI has ruined the once great juggernaut. It’s funny that they now replay 20 year old Frank Davis interviews to try and keep us interested in the station. That should tell management that the current situation is an utter failure.

It’s not just the DEI hires, it’s the carefully curated content and the slant on every news story.
It’s also a not so subtle switch in journalistic philosophy. They continuously comment on the news as they report it. It’s done in the words and tone used, the head shakes and eye rolls, as well as straight commentary.
This is not just an opinion of mine, this is absolutely taught methodology in so-called journalism schools.
