Why the down votes?
Probably FEMA employees
I watched it because I was bored and yeah it’s a lot of race BS. Whitey don’t care blah blah blah.
My wife worked for a company that did the clean up work. Boy does she have some stories.

I’m not defending FEMA, but I’ve been in a lot of hurricane responses, at BEST you can expect FEMA resources to arrive in about 96hrs, there’s a huge logistics train that has to get moving, and then, is there an expectation that FEMA is fully prepared to respond to ANY type of disaster that takes out a large metro area.
What if that huge volcano erupted and dumped 4’ of ash covering Denver, is there an expectation that all residents are evacuated within 24hrs? If so, how many thousands of responders, how much equipment and where do you put them.
What if a tsunami hit Los Angeles, is there the same expectation? Or an earthquake swallows Portland?
No doubt FEMA is a disaster itself, but even if it was “fixed” there’s no way the Govt is going to be able to mobilize a giant response to a huge metro area in less than a few days,,,,hell I doubt the US. Military could

I'll summarize it for yall: "Why isn't anyone getting us out of here? Why aren't we being saved? Where are the busses?" *a few episodes later" "Why are they putting us on these busses? Why are they bringing us somewhere else? Taking us against our will!"
You omitted the part where pilots and bus drivers were concerned about gunfire…and General Honore’s claims that it was just a misunderstanding and people were just trying to catch their attention because they needed help.

Well normal people it is insane, but with serious brain damage I need them to do their jobs. I've payed Taxes, now I need some help. Sucks, but not much I can do.
You really dig in to it, they spend most of your tax dollars helping people that refuse to help themselves. Its like feeding wild animals and now those animals will turn on you when you cut them off.

The government is loaded with idiots. It’s not our best and brightest.

If you want to watch a Katrina-adjacent documentary that will educate and enrage you, watch “Big Charity.” Saw it recently at a screening at The Broad Theater in NO, but it’s available online. (Free on Roku, Plex, and Amazon Prime.) At about an hour long, it’s a quick watch, but boy, did I learn a lot about political machinations in this state.

It's also a Spike Lee joint amd they interview nothing but Democrats, including Murphy Paul and Teedy. I wouldn't trust those two to water my yard.

When the Governor of Mississippi came on TV, he did his state proud and he got the interstates open and the trees off of them
When the Governor of Louisiana came on, she called for the next day to be declared a "Day of Prayer".
'Nough said.

Yes, it was a follow up to When The Levees Broke, which I thought was pretty good. He was promoting his movie with Denzel a few weeks ago and I don’t think he even mentioned the documentary.

Also remember the mayor of New Orleans saying that the city should be rebuilt as a “chocolate city”. These leftist are openly radical racist for the most part.

That is what I call white privilege, all that flooding, wind, water and destruction did not affect one white person. We are immune to the forces of nature.
The majority of deaths in Katrina were whites, many from Metairie Club Gardens, the most expensive area in Jefferson Parish. But the whites on the Miss. gulf coast were not affected either.

Oh and you forgot only New Orleans flooded. All the white people in St. Bernard were just fine
They also used an Ida pick from Houma to sensationalize the supposed destruction from the storm in Nola.

Because people are replying on an entity they may not have their best interest at heart. Too often we turn to the government to fix what we should be doing ourselves.

It's not my responsibility to care for the stupid lazy population who refuse to even attempt to try to take care of themselves. Honestly, I'm to the point where I couldn't care less about any poor lazy fricks at all. frick em. Why we should even give a frick about any of the fricking government reliant retards that had no intentions to even attempt to try to help themselves is beyond me.
