As an avid golfer and fisherman, deciding between the two is a weekend activity sometimes changing my mind on the way to do the other. Using this as a method of determining whether or not a guy murdered his wife is completely ridiculous.
I do think the guy is guilty tho after all the real facts came out.
Dude just randomly bought a boat a few weeks earlier and didn't even bother to unpackage the lures he bought for "fishing." By all accounts he wasn't an avid fisherman and this was an unknown to everyone that knew him, he didn't tell anyone he bought a boat.

I like how they had a pic of him and Amber and he said that’s not him. Dude was a liar and an a hole

One of the trends from back then I never understood, people getting so wrapped up in trials they attend in person with signs and have pure elation when the verdict comes out.
It was a simpler time.

Yeah why buy a boat to dump body Seems entailed
Don’t forget that’s he bought the boat the same day he told his mistress that his wife had died.

Right. Let me drive 90 miles to Berkeley Marina, when there are many bodies of water closer to Modesto. In a brand new boat. On Christmas Eve. While my wife is 9 months pregnant with out first child.
Also the fishing baits that he claimed to use were still in original packaging and never opened.

Another genius move was that they had a tracker on his truck and while they were searching the bay he was watching them from an adjacent road where no one could see him. He did that on four different occasions

Right which makes zero sense for him to make that his alibi
Yes, it makes no sense unless you look at it through the lens of him dumping her body assuming no one would find it. He was perfectly fine helping look for her 90 miles away but started getting antsy when they went to look in the bay. Completely comfortable still talking to amber frey when he was at a vigil away from the bay.

The call with amber when he was pretending to be in Paris on new years eve was a doozy. OMG it's so awesome... We are at the eiffel tower and it's just unbelievable!

Or the pair of pliers with a long hair strand that matched Laci's

I still have my doubts that Amber didn't know he was married.

Which ones?
In almost half of the cases that the Innocence Project takes on, the clients' guilt is reconfirmed by DNA testing. Of all the cases taken on by the Innocence Project so far, about 43% of clients were proven innocent, 42% were confirmed guilty, and evidence was inconclusive and not probative in 15% of cases.

I don't believe she knew.
That call from him when he was pretending to be at the Eiffel Tower was rich. How does one explain such a bizarre activity? Wasn't that the same time and the candle deal for Laci when she was still missing?

He dyed his hair because of the press and people hounding him day in and day out. He had cash on him to pay his sister or mom back a loan I believe. He didn’t have 3-4 passports
Just lol.

Well I think bigger deal is he told her he would be away
Don't know if just best way to manage Christmas with wife and not see gf
Or time for him to kill
He was a good body dump from doing this right
I am not sure what I would have done different. I think water was a mistake
