I could be wrong, but I don’t think the NFL lets coaches wear suits and ties on the sidelines anymore.
What would be the reasoning behind that?

The field at OU used to have a huge crown/slope too. Almost comical how steep it was but that was the drainage solution back then.

Have you been to death valley?

They have to wear NFL licensed merchandise on the sidelines. During his brief time at 49ers coach, Mike Nolan (son of ex Saints coach and tie-wearer Dick) wanted to wear a tie; Nike or whoever had the contract had to produce a one so he could wear it.

Did you notice the coaches dressed like gentleman in a coat and tie?
It's impossible to be a gentleman dressed any other way. I have to put on my suit just to hold a door open for a lady.

I’m curious what the percentages of races in the stands were?
I don't know but I remember watching an old video of that 79 Sugar Bowl and a Bama fan waiving a huge Confederate flag after the victory over the Yankees from Penn State

They have to wear the prescribed merchandise each Sunday. Notice at all the games the coaches and players will all wear the same pattern ball cap, the same pattern knit hat, the same pattern sweatshirts, etc.
Nolan was actually fined for wearing coat and tie. He had the 49ers logo patch on the coat. I really wish I could disengage from NFL football, some, as while it may be genius marketing or whatever, along with all the other socio-political stances, the stupid fines, the incompetent (some might say rigged) officiating. But the Saints are winning and in contention (if it isn't all fixed) and I simply can't turn away.

They didnt believe in strength training. Those guys were scrawny except fot the occasional genetic freak who was born that way.
Alvin Roy, who was on the LSU 1958 NC staff, was hired in the early 60s to be the NFL’s first and Chargers strength and conditioning coach. By the 70s weight lifting in the general public had a more positive view. Guys like Larry Csonka weren’t really lean but definitely had a lot of muscle mass.

What about the trucks on the sidelines with the camera crews!

Did you notice they played real football? Hard hits and the QB was considered a football player too? You could actually hit a QB.
Ok Boomer.
Real football is from the Lost Generation days when the quarterback was the first blocking back in a T or single wing. THAT was a man's game. Not this sissified crap with your forward passes.
