You can just buy a band for the B&M, hopefully that’s not the one that needs a battery.

The B&M is winding, Breil needs a battery. I want a stainless band for one and a new leather band for the other. The B&M original band is gator and looks ratty, just want brown leather until christmas so Mrs DH can buy me a new one. Dont want to pay B&M/Adlers/Lee Michaels prices today.

Isnt there a place on Government? Sons?

There’s a place called “Watch Repair” at airline and Florida. Highly recommend, serviced many watches for me.

Shouldn't you wait to see who Obtuse recommends?

Beau Allain at Lee Michaels is Rolex Certified. He’s the only person I let lay a finger on my timepieces.

Just buy a strap for the B&M, Hirsch or Crown and Buckle. If you want gator there are some cool ones at Shinola.

For the battery in the Breil go to Watch Repair Inc on Florida as already mentioned.

For the band if you don't feel comfortable changing it yourself buy the band and take it to Watch Repair also. If the B et M buckle is in gllod shape you may want to switch it to the new band and it can be done as long as you get the size correct. To order a new band you need the width of the band where it meets the watch in millimeters (the lug to lug width of the watch head) and if you want to use your buckle you need the width of the band in millimeters where the holes are. If you get these numbers and state a rough budget along with the type of leather I or others can direct you to specific bands that will work.

The stainless band for the Briel might be a bigger task. It will likely need to come from Briel unless it is a mesh band or one that doesn't have fitted end links. The band could possibly cost more than a new watch to be sourced. You may post a picture of the watch/band and someone may have a nice alternative to the OEM band.
