Anybody have experience with watchdr.com?

Came across something on there...don't want to buy a fake, or a watch I need to dump a bunch of money on servicing right off the bat.

I have an S. Coifman I got for just over $300 and I love it. It's professional but simple and was originally priced at $1300 (last I checked you could still find them cheap online).
It's a Swiss watch with 18k gold, quartz, and Italian leather

Edit: I just checked and the watch I purchased is now under $200. With their price drops you can definitely find a high quality watch from them for under $500

Sounds like a watch that uses the Invicta model. Make people think they are expensive but sell them for nothing.

Quartz is the movement, not sure what you mean by not breaking. And at that price it's likely not all swiss made. They may put the watches together in switzerland, but the part are likely shipped in which doesn't really classify it as a swiss watch.

It was a limited edition that didn't sell as well as they thought it would. Like I said it started at $1300 when it came out a couple years ago

They do use the invicta model, but not for all of them. It has quartz but that's not what helps keep the face from damaging. I can't remember what it's called

sapphire crystal?

I thought I got such a gret deal the first time I bought an Invicta.

Sad thing is, I like a lot of their models. I think they make good looking watches so I don't mind having them in my collection. Just don't really like the one I have anymore.

I'm honestly not sure. It's the SC 0277. I bought it after winning a bunch of money on a cruise playing blackjack

I really like that victorinox also. I've kept my eye on a few Swiss army watches. I really like what they've come out with.

Tissot, and Victorinox are my favorites around the $500 range, quality watches for a good price.
