In sociology, our professor taught us how most boycotts don't work.
They usually have a short term effect, but people aren't going to go without for long.
From the posts here and from what I see, some of the businesses probably don't want the type of black customer who would participate in a boycott.
Plus, many boycotters are hypocrites. They'll boycott businesses they don't go to anyway. But, will they boycott the white neurosurgeon who is the only one who can fix their child's brain problem?
I used to think boycotts and protests worked, but they generally do not (with exceptions like in Birmingham many years ago).
