"Nurse anesthesiologist" is not a thing, just another amongst many attempts by nurse mid-levels of any number of "specialties" attempting to play doctor and obfuscate patients.
I figured you out several posts ago, nurse chippy.
There's nurse anesthetists with RN's and there's anesthesiologists with MD's.
Guess which one you ain't....

My wife’s a NP and showed me this article this morning. We ironically live in Seattle and she’s at Harborview Medical Center where she sees true horror (gunshot wounds, stabbings, aggravated assault cases) come through the ER on a typical Saturday night. This Senator shows her true ignorance. She has no idea WTF she’s talking about.
She’s lumping LPN’s, RN’s, and NP’s into the same category. Maybe LPN’s are guilty of this, but not the real nurses.

Where did the whole "playing cards all day" thing even come from? I know there are stereotypes with certain professions, but I have never thought of nursing as a profession in which most of the day is spent lolly dickin around.
Do ER nurses even get breaks? If it is a busy shift, it's not like they can take a break, plan a lunch break, etc..
At a doctors office, it seems like the nurses are the ones doing all the work.
Not to mention, she is an elected official. Saying something like that is just stupid. She just isolated a whole group of people who now has a reason to go out and vote against her (let's say 30% of nurses vote on average and 15% of those nurses voted for her. Now she put herself in position to see a high voter turnout from nurses. Let's say 60% go vote and only 10% voted for her.. That's just a dumb political move).

Some doctors just can't fathom this mentality. I bet that dude thinks you "settled" to become a nurse clearly because you couldn't hack med school. Why else would someone choose nursing?

No, I know he "settled" or "couldn't hack med school" because he keeps playing pretend calling himself an anesthesiologist when he is in fact a nurse. Or that he calls himself board certified, when he is really only "certified" by a nursing board. If you were intellectually honest (you aren't) you would know what that implies. By the way "board certified" is a medical term distinct from "board eligible" whereby a physician has sat for and passed the multiple specialty exams prescribed by his component board of the ABMS. Its leagues beyond sitting a test to get a "C" in front of your RNA after "anesthesia school". But you (and he) already knew that.
