An armed good citizen is societies free cop.

Look at Juarez Mexico and El Paso Texas which are twin cities of predominately shared ethnicity divided by the Rio Grand. Mexico has extremely strict gun control amounting to a virtual ban, but Juarez has a murder rate over around 130/100,000. El Paso with its armed citizens has a murder rate that stays around 2/100,000.

Uvalde - shooter literally wrote "LOL" on the white board in blood

This was a shooter who basically announced himself and intentions before getting to school property by not being able to drive, crashing car into drainage canal, and then getting out of car and shooting at people in business across from canal before running across school property towards the specific building. First ISD cop arriving missed shooter who was still outside in parking lot. Door to classroom should have then slowed down entering classroom and possibly trapped him in hallway or forced him to exit other side and be exposed.

He was the minimum standard a district’s implemented plan should be able to stop or at least severely limit, and they not only didn’t stop him they allowed a massacre.

Most people are going to be angry and sickened by his message left on the board, but I also think it will motivate some sick frick somewhere. I think they should have left that out along with a few other parts that are an advertisement for a sick, offended, and suicidal psycho to copy instead of getting help or offing only themselves.

Side note - Nothing changes 2nd amendment besides the amendment process, ignoring the Constitution, or possibly & arguably reversing the over incorporation of the bill of rights to the states beyond privileges, immunities, and equal protection of state enforced laws. Outside of an extension to approve the proposed the TERF ERA in early 1980s and approving one in early 1990s that was actually sent to states to approve back in 1789 the amendment process is a valid process for national discourse which was used to get the Constitution approved in first place and has even shown ability to reverse itself, but it has been largely ignored since the 70s in favor of using judges to “amend” the Constitution.

Agree, no need to amend the Constitution at all - just make sure that whatever militia people want to belong to is known, and regulate that militia.

Do most classroom doors swing out? Or was this the door between the two classrooms?

The 2nd declares a right of the people to keep and bear arms that was not in dispute and was generally accepted to ensure that the fed couldn’t limit the people or favor certain groups by limiting their right. An attempt in the Senate to add "for the common defence" after “arms” to the final version was defeated.

The Militia part was included due to specific concerns about militias including definition of militia and their control and not about limiting the right of people to keep & bear arms.

The right to keep and bear arms is one the actual declared rights. Only possible debate before Supreme Court incorporation might be whether solely a right in regards to the fed.

A simple “don’t know” or just not answering would have sufficed, but thank you for your response I guess…

I wonder how many lives he could have saved had he gave some information/instructions to the crowd instead of running like a little bitch?

Never mind. you're either enamored by "Try that in a small town" or simple enough to be entertained by this bitch's music so you are not to be reasoned with.

I mean, that's already law. 10 USC 311. Have an adult read it to you sometime. Maybe they'll give you a juicebox for being such a good little tard.

And outlawing A.R. 15s or any other of the kind of gun isn’t gonna stop this at all. If anything, it’s gonna make it much worse.
