We had a 78 Chevy. I think it was a capris? Huge things, dad had the engine bored out and put 4 barrel Holly’s in it. I cried when they traded it on a Ford escort wagon POS.

1990 Oldsmobile Cutlass was the last of the true station wagons built like tanks that could still haul boats.

As a kid, we had a 67 Ford Country Squire and then a 73 Impala Wagon. I learned to drive in the Impala. It was an awesome car. It was massive.

The 67 had those sweats that faced sideways. I was youngest so I had to ride in back. I got car sick 100% of the time.

Those were such threat times. I really wish younger generations had to travel like that. The world would be a better place.

Mom had an old Chevy wagon. I don’t remember the year but I do remember you could lift the vinyl floor in the back and look through a hole at the road beneath going by
