As impressed as I was that he actually took bumps last night, I would still hesitate to say anything he has done in WWE since his return resembles a "wrestling match." Last night was basically his best match, and it was essentially two guys taking turns getting their offense in before a super short pinfall.

Not a great way for Goldberg to go out.

Mankind's book was really good. Not a masterpiece of literature, but by far the most interesting book from an entertainment or a sports star.

For musician's marilyn Manson's book is a good read.

They can try but it isn't going to work until the fans feel like they are choosing Reigns rather than having him forced down their throat.

Reigns could still be reformed, just like Rock went from overpushed crap face to the hottest heel in wrestling, but it means a change in alignment and gimmick.

His comeback wasn't totally about money. He wanted his kid to see him wrestle...

It's a shame his son still hasn't gotten to see him wrestle. Let me know when he does, literally, anything other than

1.) a spear
2.) a jackhammer with no hang time
3.) a single random knee to the stomach.

then I'll consider it a wrestling match.

Unfortunately the bar has been low for big men for at least 20 years.

As Jim Cornette once told "fake Diesel" after watching Kevin Nash matches, "You only need to know four moves. Five if you count flipping your hair."

I think Bret Hart's book is better. Chris Jericho's first book is second. Foley's first book is probably the third best I have read.

Watching Goldberg jackhammer and pin Hogan for his first world championship when the crowd and bobby Heenan were going insane is my #1 all time favorite moment in wrestling.

I still don't get why he came out of retirement just for those 3 matches against Brock Lesnar. What was the point?

When he first came back, he said he was doing it for his son because he really wanted to see his dad wrestle in person.

I would say its pretty likely. Saw something recently where Goldberg said in an interview that he's miserable from the eating/training regimen to get back in shape and bulk up for his comeback.

I haven't read those. To be honest, I never liked Hitman, but Lion Tamer was cool.

Whatever the point was, it probably had nothing to do with ratings.
