Was in an Ulta as it was getting boosted

In Townecenter. Needed time to kill so the ole lady wanted to buy some shite. Four individuals in there filling up baskets full of products. Obvious boost situation. One of them cause a commotion so the others can run out.
Old lady tries to stop them. Good for her, but she didn’t know no better.
Crazy part is, the manager said that it was policy to call TowneCenter security. Not the cops. The hell is security going to do?! No wonder why they get away with this stuff.

Crazy times. They don’t even pursue. It’s almost like you can just walk in to a store and take whatever you want. Definitely can’t grab the culprit. That would end in a costly lawsuit or getting shot I guess.

No, years ago I used to work retail, and tried to stop someone from stealing a high priced item. Learned that day that the company just writes it off and I almost lost my job.

Likely an organized retail theft crew.
Ulta is a highly targeted business with stores in close proximity to the Interstates all along the Gulf coast.
I had a case a few years back that had a crew hitting them from Baton Rouge to Panama City every weekend.
Education and hard work was never even an option for those thieves. They were determined to live the life they believed they were entitled to.
