Nobody had the refined slittiness, yet innocent act down better than Spears in her prime. That and her 10/10 body made her so attractive to so many teenage boys at the time.
She also did not do that many interviews and she was pretty guarded and did not overexposed herself so she could remain somewhat mysterious.
Essentially, she had one of the greatest PR/Marketing strategies of any pop star ever.
