I grew up on Willowmore. Our house flooded a lot and isn't there anymore.

Playboy's Girls of the SEC

I knew Melissa Alonzo from Central when she was in the Girls of the SEC editions. She also used to strip at the Gold Club under the stage name Mia from the Phillipines. I wonder whatever happened to her.

Werent most of the white kids at the magnet middle and high school like that in the mid to late 90's?

Nope. Sure there were some goth kids but at my HS there were way more "normal nerds" there.

I thought he passed away a few years ago. I didn't know Bobbie but my dad was friends with her father. I guess I heard wrong.

Gotcha. I was def exposed to a small sample size of goth kids, but 9/10 the goth kids that I would run into in those days went to scotlandville. I just assumed that all of the white kids there were like that

Elissa Gomez didn't run track; her sister did. Elissa became my college buddy's sister-in-law. Elissa, in college, was the best looking female I've ever seen.

If this is the girl I'm thinking of, one of my roommates had a few dates with her. She ran track for the women's team.

I don't know if she did but her sister was a distance runner. She was hot too.

Then you and I probably know each other. You were a year behind me.

Not all of us. Nurse was one of the cool kids. Although that is kind of like an oxymoron at a magnet school.

Young enough to have instagram. Hot enough to still be relevant to this conversation.

As far as I know, her real DAd was Bobby Brown whom she is named after and he was Used Car Manager at Gerry Lane dealerships for a few years. He died several years back of cancer. My Dad and he were very good friends so unless she was adopted , her biological Dad has been deceased for awhile now.

Yes, I got them mixed up. I knew she had a sister who ran track, that is the one my roommate had a few dates with.

I would not say that at all

I was painfully insecure during my SMHS days. I had a decent amount of friends, but I certainly wouldn't claim to be popular by any means. Thankfully SMHS wasn't divided into such defined cliques like "normal" schools were.

My 20 year reunion is this fall. Looking forward to it.

Her daughter is a friend of mine. Spitting image of Jani. The family was all nice people as far as I recall. But I was a kid the last time I saw her mother or grandparents.

Yes she did hang out with park forest people as she lived on great smokey drive in park forest. She was just one of a few damn good looking girls that grew up there in the 80's! Damn I loved that neighborhood as a teen!
