CC fees like all things are negotiable and one of those things you just build into your overhead cost %. The high benefit cards really hurt you like Amex , discover and add in all the reward programs passed along and you have to stay on top of monthly..
The bigger issue for this price.. no way they’ve been completely honest on their financial reporting.. I can’t imagine trying to decipher a true value with their books

That's crazy pricing for a building that will probably end up being a payday loan place or a tint shop.
You can buy Delmonico's in Nola right now for $4.1 million right or Upperline for $1.5 million (which is a steal). Both far better restaurants and properties than FDL.

There is nothing historic about that dump, tear it down and put something prettier, like a junkyard.

Relax man, they’ll have an ATM right there for you when you need it.
I’d gobble up a shrimp and extra cheese from there right this second.

Too much expense to make a profit.
There is more competition especially pizza places in the area.
Basically you are getting the property.
Building probably cheaper to tear down, plus does not meet todays demands of inside and outside sitting for that area.
Product was just a greasy pizza and there was not anything that set it apart from the competition.
I see someone negotiating to buy the property basically for less than $4.5 million.

I will never understand why people liked that place.
Cash only, maybe some of the worst pizza in town and smelled and looked disgusting in that place.
