Walton and Johnson: What's up with this week's repeats?

I don't see anything posted on fb, and I haven't heard anything on the radio. However, I've noticed that at least 3 days this week have been repeats. Any idea what's happening?
Thanks!
Thanks!

People still listen to them?
ETA: Missed it by 1 minute. I'll leave it for the downvotes.

Is his name still on the show even tho he passed away years ago? That's kinda weird. The guy who replaced him always came off as kinda whiny in comparison.

Loose usage of that name

If Johnson is sick, they're probably not going to say anything. They didn't even want to admit Walton was going to die until the day he died.
Weirdly enough Walton predicted his own manner of death on the day-after Trump victory 2016 episode, which is on their app. "Men don't go to the doctor until just before they're going to die."

I started thinking about that yesterday.

I figured they were on vacation but usually they say it’s the best of show but I didn’t hear that this week.

Something is not right. The repeat today is from last Friday with the April Fool's references. When they pulled repeats in the past to cover for a day off, they at least tried to make it blend. You can't subtly mix Friday 4/8 with Friday 4/1 since the latter is loaded with April Fool's Day stuff.

I realize people still listen to them.. what i will say is that they haven’t been funny since around 1989.. they were at their best circa 1983/84 (yes i am ancient)… their problem is the same thing that plagued the Arsenio Hall show at the end, and the same thing that’s plagues late night tv talk shows today- they got political .

Today's repeat has parts that were also repeated yesterday and Wednesday. Very strange.

Probably went to Purgatory to ski for Spring Break.

I think Producer Kenny has made the show more listenable. Still some politics but I enjoy it on my morning commute. Most of that is before 7am so maybe later in the show is goofier.

I think they should just go ahead and call it the Webster and Johnson Show at this point. It would still be W&J, just more fitting at this point.

I’m not knocking what people listen to, just jumping in before the typical OT response.

I agree…I really didn’t see how the show could survive when Walton passed, but Kenny has done a pretty good job of filling some big shoes. I still enjoy the show on my morning drive to work.
