I call bullshite on that. Would be awesome if real though.

I agree it shouldn't be $15, that's pretty ridiculous. I think $10 is about fair though. Taking inflation into account it should be around $12, but considering the greed of most companies it's probably better leaving it around $10. The fact that a single mother making $12.50 an hour can't survive without sacrificing basic comforts and skipping meals is insane. Cost of living constantly goes up without any increase in pay, it's irresponsible of our government to not balance things out. Not everyone has a cousin Jim Joe Bob to get them a plant job. There is a high percentage of college graduates that can't find a job in their field and have to resort to a $9 an hour retail job.

dunno.... they pay me pretty good...
and there's NO WAY these people actually don't eat on their so called "hunger strike"...
they may not eat at work around the other workers, but at home, trust me, they'll tear down all the food, not just some of it.... all of it...

I've seen firsthand on dozens of occasions the idiocy and poor attitudes Of Walmart employees. They definitely do not deserve to be paid more.
Edit: also, to folks saying raise the minimum wage, there is substantial evidence and basic fundamentals of economics that show that it has adverse effects.

Costco takes great care of their employees, yet stays competitive with Sams.
It can be done.
Because Costco is a better shopping experience than Sam's, that's why people are willing to pay more there.
If Walmart wants to rebrand themselves as a pleasant shopping experience and go up on prices guess what's the first thing they'll have to do?
Get better employees

What's the point of going on a hunger strike if you say when it's going to end? It's supposed to end with you dying. Not at your Black Friday protest party.

Good, most WalMart workers could afford to miss a few meals.

I hope a video surfaces of one of them cheating like the hollow stump in heavyweights

This goes for every one of them, right?

Well in my own experience, I have probably been to Walmart hundreds of times and have met literally zero people working there who appeared to deserve a raise...

I hope every single one of them gets fired tomorrow, and their positions are filled by the end of the day.

The point is to prove you're not serious about it.

Yep, I call total BS on all these supposed hunger strikes....what does this fast entail? They need an official hunger strike judge to monitor their intake! lol

If never understood hunger strikes. They are the easiest of protests to deal with, IMO. Just ignore them.
