They had a lot more life boats than were legally required back then.should have had enough for every passenger and crew. No excuse for not, especially if you could be put in a position to where you were isolated in the middle of nowhere as the ship went down. Which is what happened. quote:The lifeboats weren't meant for all passengers at once. They were used to shuttle people to the nearest rescue boat and then come back to get morestill, poor planning has no excuse. Survivors said they could see the SS Californian. Had it turned for them, more would have been saved as well.

Dude. It was 1912

The amount of detail someone put into recreating that. How can they know all thos details, drawings and old photos? Beautiful craftsmanship.

It's a miracle anybody survived that cluster frick.

Skip ran full revolutions through a full blown berg field at night in 1912.

The original Titanic ship ticket prices (RMS Titanic ship ticket prices) were ranged from $4,350 (first-class parlor suite), and $40 (third-class passage), according to the The Washington Times.

Had transatlantic flights been a thing at the time, it would probably cost 1/3 of that.

Not going to lie, the movie was a spectacle, but the idea of a first-class woman hooking up with a homeless guy and abandoning her wealthy family is probably the dumbest plot point Cameron could come up with. Something like that would never have happened in those times.

Between the mugger with Ben Franklin chest tat in other thread and the fig with the multi colored beard, shitty “cowboy” hat, American flag shorts and what is apparently a frickin kitten tat on his chest I am denouncing my white heritage out of shame. I will now identify with my Sicilian side. JFC do better white people.

GOAT box office run. That was an event film that we'll never see again. Fun times with the ladies that year.

Not even Avatar could come close to the impact that Titanic had on filmmaking.
