If only the principal had given as much thought and judgment to his own actions as he did to the girl under his supervision and to whom he owed fiduciary duties?
He deserves to be hammered.
But he has vested rights in the retirement system.
He should be held purely accountable, but I do not think they can take away his vested rights.
On the other hand,Nobody will be able to convince me that this incident was a complete surprise. The 30 yrs in the system that gives him retirement was plenty to inform those around him of his hyper- moral quackery.
The school system will pay for fostering and promoting him.

They can’t even if he is fired. Anyone who thinks they can has no idea how things work.

I live in the LP (unfortunately). I contacted my school board rep - who happens to also be the President of the school board. My message was to terminate St. Pierre and Becnel. We'll see what kind of response we get.

Well, seems my most successful thread has run its course. I think we the OT played the most significant part in getting justice for Kaylee.

The tyrant was removed as principal as he deserved. Once this story broke, several stories have come forward about his abuses of authority and narcissistic behavior from both former teachers and students. He ran the high school as his own fiefdom.
He has done good things over the years and even got national recognition for his achievements. However, he left a lot of ugly in his wake on the way to that recognition. Thought himself untouchable.
Then along came a courageous and scorned mother.
