I've never been to one but is it a better BWW with actually edible food ?

BWW is edible. But yes it is like a better BWW. Although that isn't saying a ton. Its hit or miss for me

I think the food is pretty decent for sports bar type cuisine. It's much better than BWW.

Yes... and they have booths with beer taps so you can just put your mouth under them and get fricking wasted.

Walk-On's only gets shite on because most of the posters on this site are from South Louisiana and have access to great seafood all the time, often for cheaper prices.
There isn't anything wrong with Walk-On's. The food is solid, beer selection is well above average, and there's plenty of tv's.
I'm a big fan of the Boom-Boom Shrimp, which is as solid a shrimp po'boy as one will find.
BWW is absolute garbage, borderline inedible. Walk-On's is MUCH better food in general, but they do not serve the same things. Walk-On's doesn't do wings and ribs, they do seafood, burgers, and sandwiches.

Women are better looking and food is decent. But I’ve never been to a walk ons with good service. They’re usually busy talking to each other.

Agreed. People on here were bitching a few months ago when’s Arby’s acquired them, but Arby’s Roast Beef is far better than anything on that piece of shite menu. I welcome their changes to BWW.

seconded except for the fact that I have actually been served inedible food at BWW. Wings that were frozen solid. They put sauce on them but forgot to put them in the microwave first.

When they redid their menu, the food became much more consistent and better. When I say better, I don't mean it is great, but it isn't bad.
Personally, I am not a fan of BWW at all. I don't think you can really compare the two since BWW is primarily a chicken wing place. Walkon's have more options. It's not a bad place to go before or after going to a LSU basketball, softball, baseball (or any sport that isn't football, because it is packed on gameday) game.
Of the 3 locations I have gone to, the New Orleans location is the best. It was last, year.. On a Tuesday or Wednesday, I think it was late winter (not the best weather).. It was before 5PM.. There wasn't much going on in New Orleans, just a regular day.. And had to wait for a few minutes because they were in the process of cleaning a table... When we left.. I guess around 6-6:30PM, that place was packed with people waiting outside for a table. It's a cool place to go to to drink...
