Their food portioning decline is rivaled only by Cane’s chicken fingers. I used to talk Walk-Ons up to people because of the value. Their shrimp poboy was stuffed for $10. Now for $14 you get a handful of fried salad shrimp. I get commodities have gone up but it’s decline has been fast.

FWIW, there is one now in Hoover at the entrance of the main road to the Hoover Met for baseball.

The independent restaurants around here are skimping a lot too. It’s just the reality now with stupid high inflation.
We went to Walk Ons a few nights ago. It wasn’t a bad experience at all. We’d have spent more at BW’s and gotten far worse food. I got a few beers and a Zydeco Salad while I watched football.

I like the one in NOLA CBD as a lunch spot. The Buffalo chicken sandwich is always great.
I tried the one in Hattiesburg in October and the service and burger sucked. Regretted not going to Mugshots instead.
Maybe BL just wanted a lower stress position. Being on the board without daily demands might be just the ticket.
