His reasoning was that he didn’t want to be a part of an abortion. Well, he wasn’t and wouldn’t have been so those beliefs are irrelevant.

Where in the article did it say this?

Some people's religious views go well past aborting a live fetus.

You aren’t talking to anyone who said that.

You’re arguing with us against points made earlier in the thread by people not posting anymore.

Is abortion the line drawn? Or can a steakhouse say “vegans need not apply”?

She would have a miscarriage.

The doctor gave Arteaga three options: undergo a medical procedure to remove the lifeless fetus, wait for nature to take its course or take prescription medication to help her body let go of the deceased unborn baby

So he didn't want to kill a lifeless fetus.

You all need to read this article.

If a vegan got a job at a steakhouse and then refused to serve steak, I would say that vegan is fricking retarded.

So a pro-life OBGYN is “fricking retarded” for pursuing that career path?

Is this serious?

Lifeless as in void of life as in dead.

You can’t kill something that’s already dead.

I think what he is saying is that in this instance being a shitty pharmacist is his right.

Legally he is ok, but he can and shohld be called out for it.

Actually leaving a dead fetus in the mother can have life-threatening complications.

There really is no defense of the pharmacist in this particular instance. The fetus was dead; there is no religious objection and he exposed the mother to harm by refusing to fill. He dun goofed.
