Haha I agree, and that’s part of my point. It seems like most of the reasons we remain devoted to the “standard” work day only exist because “it’s how we’ve always done it” and no one with decision making authority is willing to examine it critically. I think we could significantly increase employee satisfaction without any decrease in employee productivity by simply cutting the bullshite and the rigidity that’s required to keep the bullshite structured.
