I get the frustration but you can't sound off on social media like that. Particularly when your company specifically tells you it's not kosher.
Social media is going to be the downfall of western civilization.

Her decision making cost her the job.
Which was set into action by the bad actions of others. Do they get any blame in your mind? There was 50 people eating.
A few bucks each would have been a good tip.
Are we no longer allowed to call out people's bad actions and lack of home training? She never mentioned her employer in her rant.

Zero.

The church shouldn't get any blame, but they should have tipped something for that size order, even if it was take out.
Her mistake was complaining about it where it could get back to her employer. Don't do that when it might get back to your employer. It's not difficult.

I agree they had zero to do with her firing. Glad they got called out on being typical churchgoing tippers though. Sunday lunch shifts are the worst.

Yeah. I mean sure personally I would leave a tip. But you can't bitch about being stiffed on social media. Especially for a takeout order. Bitch about it to your coworkers. You have to be an idiot to put it on Facebook.

Cool. Then don't use any service where a tip is part of benefitting from that service. Especially restaurants. Once they know you are a deadbeat they will mess with your food in ways that would make you puke if you knew.

Are you slow? Serious question.

How is a hostess or manager paid? That's who usually gets my shite together. I would feel weird tipping a manager. Unless she fine. Then she gets the tip. Just for a second....just to see how it feels.

I’ve seen hostesses used but not often because they don’t want them in the back putting stuff together instead of at the front watching the door. Managers will step in when things get busy but by and large they aren’t the ones that are going to be doing it.
Servers/bartenders 9 times out of 10 are in charge of to go orders.

I'm gonna start going to restaurants and not tipping at all if they keep this up

Seems reasonable and appropriate.

This is a myth.

Take out is usually assigned to various wait staff.
Every single time that Ive used Outbacks Curbside service, it was handled by an asst manager/floor manager type of person
Not one time did the person that came to my car get pulled off wait service

I have no idea how Outbacks curbside service operates and maybe some kind of security thing. Most restaurants don’t have a curbside service thing either though.

No Baw, It's not a myth. Ask a few servers about overbearing, rude customers, and what happens to their food. It will politen you right up.

If you can't afford to tip, eat at home.
I'm sure the restaurant owner would disagree with you
I've had an owner tell me, a lady came in, didn't tip on her meal. Went to the car and grabbed change for dessert. Still no tip, he told her not to come back.

Nobody screws with other people’s food. They may scratch their nuts and not wash their hands just out of laziness, but no one maliciously messes with food. That is a myth. I’ve worked in plenty of restaurants over the years and never once saw it, and the concensus of other servers I’ve talked to when the topic would inevitable come up was that they think it’s a myth also.

I also have worked in many restaurants/bars, I heard of it ONE time. Back in high school, working at Burger King, after handing the cop his food in drive thru, the guy told me he spit on his chicken sandwich. That was 20 years ago.
