I think its 1.50 if you dont buy anything else, but they dont advertise clearly, if so
That's pretty clear to me. I guess we can't expect people to READ the menu where it clearly says:
"add a regular 9 oz OJ with purchase of any beverage"
WTF do people think that means?
Where does it say it cost $1.50?

On the picture you listed, it actually says add OJ for $1.80 beside one of the meals, so I guess it was discounted at $1.50.
ETA:
It's right beside the Texas bacon egg and cheese melt: Add for $1.80.
So, like I said, unless you can't read, it's pretty simple.

Why didn’t they just deduct the .50¢ from their tip? Oh wait....
2 points everyone should understand:
-If .50¢ is that important, going out to a restaurant probably wasn’t a wise financial decision.
-Understand that IF you are a person willing to go above and beyond to make a scene about anything under $5 on your bill, the staff more than likely doesn’t want you to show at their establishment.
Why do you keep saying half a cent? And if a charge is incorrect on my bill, I'll be pointing it out. Sorry your serving job is too hard for you to accurately ring me up.

Meh, I have no trouble with inquiring on a charge you dont understand.
This past weekend I went out to eat at a restaraunt, after gettint the check i always check everything to make sure it is completely accurate. This time i noticed there was an extra charge for .75. Thats not a huge deal, but I still talked to my server about it. Apparently it was for when I asked for some ranch for my fries.
Now i had no problem paying for it, but I did kindly let the manager know, for now on that if a customer asks for some ranch or another condiment and it costs extra, that the waiter kindly let them know that there is a charge.
Maybe i made that into to much of a big deal. Oh well, to me it's not as much about the money, but whether the principle. I want to be aware of and be in charge of what I pay for, whether it is $.1 or $100

Were they overcharged? If they were, how would you suggest they handle it?
Did the police really arrest them over this?

when you ordered a tea, did the waiter kindly let you know there'd be a charge for it?

I bet you are TONS of fun to go to dinner with if you must talk to the server and a manager over $0.75

See this is interesting to me because I am the complete opposite. I can honestly say I’ve probably looked at a bill for accuracy at a restaurant/bar MAYBE a handful of times in my entire life.
I’m not jabbing at you or saying anything is wrong with your method. I just don’t get the mindset behind it. I bartended in college. If you complained or didn’t tip, I either blatantly charged more for the next drink for not tipping or would simply ignore you. I also am of the opinion that complaints fall on deaf ears and typically don’t turn out well for the actual person/customer. Nice folks that are easy going whether tipping big or not usually receive better overall treatment than the person nitpicking their bill or experience.

This... I know about how much my bill should be... if it's fricking 50 cents one way or the other... I'm not gonna notice it. If it comes in way high, then I'll look. How would one honestly even know if their restaurant check was 50 cents off? Who has time or need to check stuff that closely?

Is there an amount you consider insignificant to dispute?

I appreciate your apologies but it wasn’t hard. College bar tending, almost 15 years ago, was actually a lot of fun.
Do you run back home and tell your mom/SO how you put the mean ole bartenders and servers in their place when you noticed the incorrect charge? You’re so dang smart. They must be proud.

Yea, arbitrarily deciding to blatantly overcharge people that you deemed worthy sounds like a blast. Entitled shits like you are the reason servers get such little respect.

All that over 50 fricking cents.

It's still theft and we do not know how the situation went. I had an issue the other day over an adult ordering a kids meal in my store. I wasn't working but the guests were physically threatening employees. Cops were called.

From your post history. No worry you’re so angry. Constantly trying to prove your worth and how you’re right to a bunch of strangers on the internet. Color me shocked that you also complain about your bill being off by an insignificant amount.
Carry on sir. Fight the good fight. Whatever the hell it is.
