WAFB seems to take the news more seriously as WBRZ has lagged behind for years. Recently WBRZ started pulling in legit eye candy which has helped catapult them on top. As other poster mentioned, watch Pat for comedy and Jay for the weather forecast. Although both miss the weather projections half the time.

And I have always found them (WAFB) to be irreverent to a fault. I find WBRZ reports more news, while WAFB is a variety show.
Oh and I loathe Donna Britt.

I always seem to turn the news on right as the John Folse cooking segment starts which drains the fricking life blood out of me. It seems to just go on and on and on. And he talks like he's got a goddamn mouth full of peanut butter.
I just can't stand the idea of cooking as news. News is news. Have a cooking show AFTER the news.

Donna Britt and Diane Deaton should team up and do a news/weather cast for a new network.

Haven't watched Baton Rouge TV in years but I have seen both and neither is as bad as Margaret Orr on WDSU in New Orleans. My dog does a better job of forecasting the weather than her and he looks better too.

I hate the new weather graphics that WAFB just started using. Looks so childish and very hard to read.

WWL TV is the way to go IMO

Donna Britt may just be the hottest woman in south Louisiana.

I watch the morning news on WAFB cuz I luv some Mrs. Westbrook . What irritates the shite out of me is that they will have a one minute segment of news and then go straight to commercials for five minutes. They do this all morning, then you have to watch the buffoonery traffic reports.

WAFB has better people, from the production peeps to the anchors.
Go frick yourselves if you ask how I know this but... You're exactly right.

Well hello there, Johnny A. I love your traffic reports and party with adult beverage at your pool this weekend?

Pretty sure WAFB is the number 1 in ratings now.
It's been a while since I lived down there, but I much preferred the WAFB channel (I think it's 9) for weather and sports.
