Duh.

8000 IU / day.

Spaced out with food because D3 is a fat soluable(sp) vitamin.

That’s just 4 on the tiny arse liquid capsules.

Or just spend about 60 minutes a week outside while it’s sunny. Your body isn’t absorbing most of the shite in most vitamins. Those OTC vitamin D supplements still have to be activated by your body, the legit vitamin D is Rx, fat soluble vitamins accumulate and can become toxic.

Pretty much getting some sun and taking a daily vitamin with vitamin c, d, and zinc in it is the cure for Covid. Some horrible disease.

I’m not sure if it’s a cure for covid, but having healthy levels of D and zinc and not living in a nursing home gives you really good odds of not even knowing you have it.

You are not getting enough vitamin D by going outside, unless you are routinely sunbathing. Take supplemental Vitamin D, or get your blood checked to ensure you have enough.

I have a parent that had skin cancer (now has breast cancer). While I get out, I have to wear SPF and supplement that with Vitamin D.

The sunlight and fresh air is amazing when you don't feel well.

Come back in August and reassess.

Take your Vitamin D supplements folks

And your magnesium and zinc.

I take a great multi (Alive for Men) that is mostly made from dehydrated fruits and veggies. I also supplement Vitamin D, Magnesium, Fish Oil, and Zinc on top of it.

And I briskly walk outside at least 30 minutes a day with my dog. Rain or shine.

5000 IU is plenty for D3. Not sure why one would need 8000 or more.

Not enough for most of the year if you live above the 37th parallel. I just do both.

quote:

Except during the summer months, the skin makes little if any vitamin D from the sun at latitudes above 37 degrees north (in the United States, the shaded region in the map) or below 37 degrees south of the equator. People who live in these areas are at relatively greater risk for vitamin D deficiency.

Weird how Denver is above the parallel but they receive a ton of sunshine a year. I wanna say close to 290 days a year.

Yeah, my sister lives in Portland and they all take Vitamin D supplements because they don't get shite for sunshine most of the year.

And they are as "outdoorsy" as it gets.

It's not the number of days. It's the angle that sunlight travels.

Standard hospital care should be amended to include outdoor sunshine therapy whenever possible.
Yep.
Even decent chicken slaughter houses allow some natural sunlight.

You mean UV? Nah can't be. Trump said to put UV lights up your butt. Plus all the beaches were closed.

Also, don't go to the California beaches.

And, by all means, stay off of San Francisco sidewalks.
