Violators of Texas quarantine subject to jail time

It seems pretty unenforceable. Even if by air, do they follow you to your house to make sure you’re compliant?

OP is trying to sensationalize it with his thread title and leaving out key details that the quarantine order punishable by fine or jail time only applies to air travelers flying into Texas from New York, New Jersey and New Orleans. They have self quarantine for 14 days and could be charged if they violate the quarantine order. Doesn’t apply to people already in Texas or who drive into Texas

When you get to the airport you fill out a form at the gate with your info and they make periodic phone calls to make sure you're where you say you are. Crazy big brother shite.

How so? So we were nowhere near being one three or four weeks ago? So this all of the sudden happened in just two weeks?
