Dude, they had me and a buddy hold each a balloon and this woman shot 2 darts out of herself and popped both from 20ft away. I could go on. Like I said well worth the $10. They are older women that are too old to whore themselves out. You walk in, sit down and there's a beautiful girl fully naked covered in bath suds 3ft away while you drink beer waiting on the show.

First woman stuck a magic marker in her pussy and wrote "Welcome to the show" on a dry erase board and you'd swear someone wrote it perfectly with their hand.

Razor blades, horns, rope, bruh. I'd have paid $100 if they told me what I was in for.

Locals took me to a kickboxing arena. That was awesome. No way I'd get in the ring with a 15 year old. They start training at 5 years old. Badasses in there. We watched 7 year olds on up beating the shite out of each other. It was nuts.

We dropped 260 million bombs on a country we weren’t even fighting against in a 10 year span.

We bombed Pathet Lao and NVA troops that were stationed in Laos. Laos was officially neutral but the Eastern half of their country was attacked and occupied by N. Vietnam and became the Northern terminus of the Ho Chi Minh trail.

After the Vietnam war ended the Pathet Lao won the Laotion civil war and did this;

quote:

Between 1975 and 1995 the Pathet Lao killed over 300,000 civilians. Victims included the Royal Lao family, soldiers and about 46,000 officials under the former Royal Lao government. Atrocities included chemical bombing, torture, genocide, massacres and executions.

Bombing the communist soldiers, logistical bases and transportation routes that brought NVA soldiers and supplies into South Vietnam does nothing to raise my sympathies for communist occupied Laos.

Oh I know, and would have done the same had I been the one to give the order. But the fact remains we bombed the ever living shite out of a country we weren’t at war with and they are still dealing with deaths and injuries today from it.

That’s fine, and I agree.

Doesn’t change the fact that the most bombed country in the world is a country we weren’t at war with. A fact that is extremely interesting.

Can confirm. Been to one of those shows. Ladies shot ping pong balls out of their hoo-ha at me and I swatted them back at them with a paddle.

Then they started doing magic tricks. You know the string of handkerchiefs trick? Yeah, like 30 feet coming out if her “sleeve”.

I wasnt sure whether I was impressed or horrified

As you've seen, there are a decent amount of ex-Pats in Southeast Asia.

If you've ever been to Pattaya, it felt like every fifth person was a white guy in his 60s/70s with a much younger women.

I met a bar owner there and he said he's always wanted to own a bar and it was much easier to do so there versus the states.

For Vietnam, it's all about the city. There are tons of Westerners in Saigon, Hanoi, and Da Nang. If you travel to some of the smaller, non-touristy cities, people will hop off their moped in the street just to take a picture of you.

North Vietnam wasn't at war with Laos yet they attacked and occupied the Eastern half of Laos. Between that and the legitimate government of Laos giving us permission to bomb the communist occupied areas, the 'neutrality' of Laos becomes meaningless.

Did they catch it?

Absolutely. I didn't think that rope would end. They brought a birthday cake out with at least 100 candles and she blew them out like a pro.

One hotboxed a cigarette and blew smoke rings.

What kind of jobs could a single man get if I just moved there?

Is it pretty much a requirement to have a nice nest egg before making the move?

I can see how a single guy could stay.

Not just single guys.. I myself am divorced, mid 40s, and I’ll be retiring to Thailand in a few short years, before I turn 50… But I also have friends who are couples with kids who are looking to do the same thing, there are fantastic international schools all over SE Asia… There is no such thing as a perfect place, but the closest thing I’ve found to heaven on earth is Thailand… with its great infrastructure, off the charts great food, top-notch healthcare at a fraction of US prices, and of course, beautiful women… Life is too short to stay in declining shithole America with its overweight, tatted up, entitled, Walmart chicks who don’t even bother trying to look feminine .. as a single guy in 2024, you are MUCH better off in the Land of Smiles .

Anyone looking to deep dive into the war, do yourself a favor and watch the documentary "The Vietnam War" by Ken Burns. It's incredible.

No way America should have been in Vietnam.
