Seems about right. People (including OP apparently) will assume this happens all the time in every class from 1 video but the reason this is being recording is because it was unusual

I was that kid with his eyes closing… I could sleep through any class.. I became an expert at it… my friends where always amazed how I could look down and have my eyes close and my hand would wiggle like I was taking notes but all that was on my paper was lines scribble..
