"They took muh flag." No, it was never your flag. You were not alive when it was considered relevant.
"They treated us bad when we wuz slaves." You were never a slave. There are laws in place giving you more than enough rights to prosper.
Now, all of you, whatever color, go home, get an education or marketable skill. Save your money, buy a house. Bust your butts to pay it off early. Fund your retirement.
Don't try to live like a baller if you are not one. Earn, learn, save. Repeat.

What a show of ignorance all the way around.
The cellphones filming everywhere...the angry blacks who are still going to be angry come tomorrow and are just fighting to fight a cracker...the ignorant whites who are on display and make the south look bad...
makes me fear that this is indeed the beginning of the end.
Whoever is setting up America to be destroyed, he/she/they are doing a pretty good job at it. Let's not forget we have Mexican guerrilla gangs, ISIS, and other networks of people who hate us ready to attack us within our own borders.

How is there both sides? One side has been historic oppressive and violent towards one side, the other is wants to be treated like the first class citizens they are, and wants its equality which is promised under the law of the land.
When we finally get to the point where one side realizes it's not a 2 sided issue, then we can make some progress. Blacks are out there fighting for their respect, for their kids, for their humanity, for their God give right to Be, to exist, for equality, etc.
What in the world are those fallen flag hacks and their flags fighting for?
How is there both sides? One side has been historic oppressive and violent towards one side, the other is wants to be treated like the first class citizens they are, and wants its equality which is promised under the law of the land.

And the moderate, peaceful ones are doing nothing but adding fuel to the fire by not wholly rejecting his fricked up plead by not unanimously jumping behinds black America and the rest of Americans that want to move on from this.
You egg this on by constant deflecting and denial that the flag is not an oppressive symbol towards blacks. By continuing a "both sides argument." By deflecting this to black on black crime (to appease your sensibilities and comforts that black issues are solely the cause of their own cultural pathology). Why must some of you follow the centuries old history of white denial? Maybe it's something innately American, because some of the rhetorics arguments are based in the same superficial-ness and denial that the segregationist and the pro-slavery folks were damn bound to.
keep latching to wrong issues, and then you find yourself supporting roofs side, and really driving home the "divisiveness."
Clean up your mess. The silent middle could really help out this country by dropping this dumbass resistant to helping your fellow neighbor feel more American than they already do.

SMH, all this over a flag. I'am sure everybody in that video time could have been better spent doing something productive. Imagine if all those people actually came together to solve some to the REAL problems that South Carolina is facing. Trying to end racism is a pointless battle. Racism will die when we do.

Their right to hate just whoever in the hell they want to hate, you in this country you are allowed to love or hate anyone you want to. You don't have to agree with it but it's true.
