Losers on either sides? the only losers are the bitter folks waving their fallen flag around -- peep the sig.
What I see are bullies finally getting their shite pushed in and not being able to handle the reality that their way of life is evaporating before our eyes. The educated brother and sisters at the 1 mintueish mark (probably a free safety) fed those ignorant hacks rhetorical venom and they couldnt reply with any sort of legitimate response (because there isnt one).
The bane of white southern culture was out there embarrassing the rest of the south.

This whole shitshow is such an embarrassment for us. I hate this. That video for real brought tears to my eyes. This is not how I want my state to be represented by either side.
It was stupid as frick to approve both sides to rally at the same time and place. What in the fricking hell did they think was going to happen? Everybody was gonna sit in a circle, holding hands and sing kumbaya?
And I'm thoroughly embarrassed that there was a guy wearing a Carolina shirt in that video. That is NOT the way to represent The University of South Carolina AT ALL. Just a goddamn moron to think that was a good idea.
I just want this all to stop. I'm truly afraid of what the fall out of all of this is going to be. I just hope that this does not lead to an all out race war...but it feels like that is exactly what is about to happen here. I live 50 miles from Columbia and even here, there is a simmering tension that is palpable in the air.

Class on both sides. Very impressive display of intelligence. The cops need to leave and allow both of those groups to kill as many of each other as they can and a lot of our problems would begin to be solved.

Looks like all of the KKK and white power guys were peacefully standing up for their beliefs while the other side was attacking them and instigating fights to the point where one white man had to pull a gun out to protect himself from getting jumped. It's easy to see who the good guys are and the bad guys are based on their actions.

I never understood the continued tie to Africa for black people. I also think African-American is a god awful term that diminishes the notion of just being an American. No real ties to that continent, and no family there, by and large, for the entire black population in America. Why this is such an accepted form of expression (both Pan-African flag and "African-American") by black people is beyond me. It's essentially a divisive tool. Hard to argue you want equal rights as an American when you have to have add-ons to "American". We are Americans, the rest is just filler. We don't call whites "European Americans", and black folks should steer away from AA.
I'm a mutt, so I suppose I am an Uncle Tom, but it is one of those pet peeves I have.
