You are right and I am guilty as charged. I'm judging based on facts provided and really don't give a dam about their feelings. They fit a profile and I avoid dealing with all of them.

A person or group may live as they please in this country. They must also suffer the consequences when it is not acceptable to the society (high crime rate as an example). That isn't my rule. It isn't even just an unwritten rule of the U.S. That is the norm anywhere you may roam on the planet.

Human nature is to keep a more watchful eye on someone dressed like a thug, white, black or chartreuse.
A clean cut black guy in a suit, or even in jeans, a nice Southern U shirt and a Southern cap poses little threat. If he is older the threat level goes down even more.
Why are you getting hammered by those who cannot seem to understand that?

I usually ask for it. It doesn't bother me. It makes me study to make sure I'm correct. SS once created an alter just to attack me personally.
It was epic. My only regret was that I didn't copy that very first entry before they deleted it. I know I'm winning the discussion when the other guy starts a personal attack. In this case the sentences that are copied skip completely over the actual items that should be discussed. That's nothing new. Both as individuals and groups, we have our faults and flaws. I wasn't too concerned about removing the rebel flag from the N. Carolina statehouse. Mob rule was the only thing I saw wrong but how could legislators not do so given the church shooting. My own opinion is the only flags that should be flying on government buildings is the state flag flying slightly below the American flag. Personal property is a different thing altogether. In a free society we do not want to start picking and choosing what is acceptable. Such as this can become a 2 edged sword.
On the other hand given the heated climate of today I think those that are doing what the guy in the truck did should expect bad things to happen.
It is scenes such as this that seriously damages the image of a group. It bolsters exactly what I was saying about who a white man (indian too) trusts. Lawlessness breeds contempt. The good are caught up in it.
